Teacher Development
Since 1997, Grace has sponsored teachers to attend the Key Issues Institute, a week-long
environmental training workshop held in Colorado. By supporting educators interested
in sustainability, we support generations of students that will pass through these
educators’ classrooms.
The company is currently recruiting interested educators for the 2012 workshop experience
that involves the simulation of local environmental issues. Teachers pursuing advanced
degrees can earn two graduate-level credits for attending the workshop from the
Colorado School of Mines.

The 2012 sessions are scheduled for June 26-July 1, July 10-15 and July 24-29. They
