The candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing multiple projects of varying priority and technical difficulty. This includes assisting with set up of project targets, assessing technical feasibility, establishing a research program to effectively and efficiently develop formulations that meet project targets, and clearly communicating project status/results to marketing and senior R&D management.
- Demonstrating excellent oral/verbal communication skills enabling effective exchange of information to wide audience of primarily internal customers (marketing, manufacturing, EHS, Legal, and Sales).
- Generating new products ideas/concepts with potential business opportunity.

| Requirements | |
- Ph.D. in organic/polymer chemistry with minimum 2 yrs industrial experience with a track record in developing chemical formulations with commercial success
- Strong background in either polymer and/or organic chemistry along with a broad knowledge of inorganic and surfactant chemistries. Demonstrated experience in developing formulated compositions that meet complex performance criteria, preferably as related to the construction industry
- Demonstrated experimental skills
- High energy, excellent teamwork
- Proficiency in application of statistical tools for data analysis and experimental design. Familiarity with Design of Experiments
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work in complex matrix organization with multiple functions and geographies involved
- Potential and career aspirations to effectively manage, lead and train professionals, technicians and teams
