Outside the Office
Being an employee at Grace doesn't stop at the office door. There is much more to
it.
We recognize that you need to have a life outside the office, so the company offers
paid time-off to volunteer in the community. The list of approved agencies includes
organizations focused on youth, education, senior care, environmental preservation,
and animal rescue, among others. We also organize company activities, such as summer
picnics, holiday parties and employee sports teams.
For employees continuing their education, Grace offers tuition reimbursement and
even funds a scholarship program available to the children of full-time employees
located in certain regions. The company feels so strongly about education that Grace
will match personal gifts made by employees located in North America to qualified
secondary schools, colleges and universities dollar for dollar.
Because we understand the importance of being a good community partner, we operate
a philanthropic affiliate, the W. R. Grace Foundation, Inc., which supports charitable
organizations located in communities where Grace has major U.S. operations, as well
as programs that represent exceptional opportunities to improve the quality of life
for an important segment of the population.
W. R. Grace & Co. is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against
any applicant because of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, handicap,
sexual orientation, military service or genetic information.
