Grace has leading experts in a number of fields and has recruited from some of the
best schools around the world.
Grace has technical centers and research
labs in Australia, Brazil, China, England, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Malaysia,
Mexico, Philippines, Poland, Singapore, Thailand and the United States. This global
research community has a continual drive for innovation and creativity. For example,
each year the company applies for hundreds of patents.
The research and development (R&D) staff has direct contact with customers and
works with them to
meet
their needs. Global research activities and best practices are shared through the
Grace Research Council, which also works to identify and assess emerging industry
opportunities.
Researchers are acknowledged with Premier Awards (the company's internal award program)
and with an annual Innovation Day that congratulates inventors who had patents issued
in the previous year.
