Pelletized Silica Blend (PelSibs)
Grace Davison non-dusting blends (PelSibs) add to the the multitude of advantages of Integrated SYLOBLOC® Combination products for the customer:

Low dust and free flowing products, easy handling.
Combination products have a much higher apparent density compared to silica gel, which results in lower dust generation during handling and processing. Silica gel antiblocking agents are characterized by their high affinity for moisture, due to their physical and chemical make up. When combining synthetic silica gel with other organic additives, the formulator substantially reduces exposure to moisture uptake. Thus processability and quality will be enhanced, while the risk of imperfections in the films (vapor bubbles leading to nibs and fish-eyes) will be reduced.

Reduced moisture uptake.
The free flow properties of the product will be optimized, thus eliminating any caking of the material.
- Integration of liquid, volatile and viscous additives.
The production process for producing a powdered or pelletized blend enables us to work with raw materials with melting points ranging between room temperature 250°C. Thus liquids which are problematic to handle can be integrated into the blend.
